Cookie Files Policy

  1. The service does not automatically collect any data, except the data included in the cookie files.
  2. The cookies are IT data, especially text files which are stored in the end device of the Service User and dedicated to use the internet websites of the Service. Cookies usually contain the name of the website they come from, the duration of storing in the end device and their unique number.
  3. The entity locating cookies on the end device of the Service User and having access to them is the Service Provider: PromoSMS.pl based in: MEXT Sp. z o.o. ul. Przyjazni 103B/1, 53-030 Wrocław
  4. The cookie files are used in order to:
    1. Adjust the content of the websites of the Service to the preferences of the User and optimize the use of websites, these files especially allow to recognize the device of the Service User and properly display a customized website;
    2. Create statistics which help understand how the Service Users use the websites; this makes it possible to improve the structure and content of the websites:;
    3. Maintain the session of the Service User (after logging in); thanks to this function the User does not have to type in their login and password on every subpage.

       

  5. There are two basic types of cookie files used for the Service: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files which are stored in the end device of the User till the moment of logging out, leaving the page or turning the software (Internet browser) off. Persistent cookies are stored in the end device of the User for the period of time specified in the cookie files parameters or till the moment of removing them by the User.
  6. There are other types of cookies used for the Service:
    1. Necessary cookies make it possible to use the services available as a part of the website, for example authentication cookies used for services requiring authentication in the website;
    2. Cookies used to ensure security, for example used to detect abuses in the website authentication procedures;
    3. Performance cookies which enable collecting information concerning the way of using the sites of the website;
    4. Functional cookies enable remembering the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User interface, for example in the area of the selected language or region where the User is from, font size, site layout etc.

       

  7. In many instances the software which is used to browse the websites (Internet browser) by default allows storing cookie files in the end device of the User. Service Users can change the cookie files settings any time. These settings can be changed especially in such a way that the automatic cookie files support is blocked in the Internet browser settings, or that the information concerning cookie files presence in the end device of the Service User appears every time. Detailed information concerning the possibilities and methods of cookie files support can be found in the software (Internet browser) settings.
  8. Service Operator informs that the limitations used for cookies support can influence some of the functionalities available on the websites of the Service.
